Elhew Distinction was Bob Wehle's 1997 "brag dog" from the paring of Ch. Elhew Snakefoot and Elhew Kiwi. Distinction's fabled sire,  Snakefoot, stands on his own merit, but it would be an unfortunate omission not to give due credit to Elhew Kiwi for her contribution to the Elhew legacy. The quintessential "blue hen", Kiwi was a daughter of the legendary Guard Rail; arguably, the most influential sire of his era. Guard Rail daughters were valued for their performance characteristics as well as their prepotency as brood matrons. Distinction is contributing to our kennel through his granddaughter, Elhew Epitome, and will be used in the future through frozen semen.
