Striking Elhew Blaze, "Blaze", is a powerful, well made, sixty-pound male, who is as natural a grouse dog as they come. A product of our first pairing of Zorro and Bailey, Blaze, like most Elhews, showed early on he was "genetically trained". Blaze possesses style, has a great nose, is highly intelligent, and exhibits natural staunchness and intensity on his birds. Owned by Walter Cummings, NY, Blaze has spent two summers in New Hampshire with Adam Dubriske, a skilled trainer and handler. Adam said of Blaze, "he is a once in a lifetime dog." Blaze will be used to continue our focus on breeding and developing a fine grouse dog.
