CHKI Red Hawk, "Red", was a beautiful dog known for his accomplishments in the grouse woods. Red spent a great deal of time with Al Ladd in the northeast, where he proved to be a worthy grouse dog. Al said of Red, "he had a chokebore nose, great conformation, was beautifully gaited, a bird-finding machine, and a pleasure to work with. He won multiple times as a derby and was U.S. Complete Derby of the Year in the Northeast." Red boasts a pedigree to be coveted: sired by a son of Nat'l Champion Dunn's Fearless Bud x Nat'l Shooting Dog Champion Elhew Agitator. Red's dam was by RU Ch. Elhew Discovery, out of a daughter of Ch. Elhew Crazy Horse. Red offers an infusion of outstanding, proven genetics.
